Gadi Amiel

Gadi Amiel holds degrees in Civil Engineering and in Architecture from the Technion IIT. As a Major in the IDF he served as an architect and engineer at the Israeli Air Force, planning and managing unique and extensive construction projects. As the owner and manager of an architectural, engineering, and a project management company, he planned and executed a wide range of residential and public projects. Gadi is also a co-founder of Little Heroes, an NPO that benefits thousands of disabled children in Israel.

Driven by the wisdom of morality and kindness in the Buddhist teachings and practice, Gadi is inspired to lead the planning and construction of a center that will significantly deepen and widen the opportunity of spiritual teachings and practice in Israel. With deep appreciation, love and faith in this path, Gadi is seeking to support his dear teacher’s vision, by building the spiritual center in Israel.

Gadi is married to Miriam and is a father to three children.

Tsvika Ben Haim

Tsvika Ben Haim received with high honors degrees in Law, and in Business Management. An expert in planning, construction and municipalities, and deeply inspired by the vision of the International Spiritual Center, Tsvika is honored to act as a legal adviser to the team.

Miriam Amiel

Miriam Amiel holds a Masters degree from the Technion IIT, is married and a mother of three children, and is a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the Israeli Defense Forces, where she was in charge of big projects such as the privatization of food services for the military. She is dedicated to the spiritual path and to working for the benefit of others, and is currently involved in projects that bring together communities from various segments in the Israeli society. Miriam seeks to support her teacher’s vision of a center for peace in the Middle East.

Lobsang Jampani (aka Leah Aharoni)

Lobsang Jampani (aka Leah Aharoni) has been Lama’s Dvora student for the last 13 years.  She holds a Masters degree from Northwestern University in Counselling Psychology. She is retired now, after years of teaching and counselling teenagers, parents and teachers in high schools, as well as having her own private clinic.  During the years 2010-2014 She headed the groups of Asian Classic Institute students in Israel, and from 2015-2018 served as head of the curriculum at Arava Spiritual Center. She was ordained as a Buddhist nun on 2015, and currently lives in the monastery at Arava Spiritual Center.

Ven. Lobsang Kelsang (aka Ori Bader)

Ori Bader graduated from acting school in 1995 and worked as an actor mainly at the Israeli national theater, Habima, for nearly 20 years.

In 2002 he also started working at Cinephil, a films sales & co-productions company, working as a sales representative for international films (mainly documentaries).

During a period of 14 years at Cinephil, Ori became the company’s Sales & Acquisition Executive, handling international distribution for films, as well as taking part in film productions, the most prominent and known is “The Gatekeepers”, nominated for an Academy Award for Best Feature Documentary in 2013.

In 2015, Ori was ordained as a Buddhist monk in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition and received the monastic name Lobsang Kelsang. He then moved to live in the monastery, at ‘Arava Spiritual Center’.

Chaim Amram

Chaim holds B. Sc degree in Mathematics & Computer Sciences, and an MA in East Asia studies, both from Tel-Aviv university.

Has worked for more than 25 years in the Hi-Tec Industry, in products development and R&D groups management for startups and global technology organizations.

He practices budhism and leads projects within Method & Wisdom NPO, such as translating East Asia wisdom into Arabic, and technology projects.

Chaim feels lucky to be part of Lama Dvora’s great vision for circles of inner and outer peace getting bigger and bigger.

He is reponsible for the technology aspects of the project.

Aviv Kutai-Netzer

Aviv is married and the mother of two daughters, a graduate of film and television studies at Tel Hai College. She worked for years as a film producer and director. Since 2014 Aviv practices Tibetan Buddhism under the guidance of her teacher Lama Dvora at the Arava Spiritual Center and teaches a Dharma group in the mountains of the Galilee. Aviv devotes her time to practicing and promoting the vision of Ehvam – a spiritual center for peace in Israel and believes in it with all her heart.
